IT'S BEEN WEIRD:
CELEBRATING THE END OF 2016 at FORT DEFIANCE
Typically, we take the opportunity of New Year's Eve to celebrate the life and times of Charles H. Baker, Jr., the great food and drink writer, and our patron saint.
But this year's been so weird. We decided to break with tradition and offer a simple prix-fixe dinner menu
($50/$95 paired with cocktails and wine) as well as our regular dinner menu (available until midnight). Reservations are only available for diners requesting the prix-fixe menu; all other seats are first-come, first-served. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for reservations.
We're also offering the opportunity to clear the path for new beginnings in 2017 with an intuitive reading.
Ji Hyang Padma (owner St. John Frizell's sister!) will offer astrological and tarot card readings 6-9pm; Moriah Simmons (Fort Defiance alum) will read tarot cards 9pm-midnight. Readings are 20 minutes and include practical guidance for working with the weather patterns of the year.
Ji Hyang Padma, Ph.D. has been doing professional astrology for twelve years. Her readings are a hybrid of traditional astrology with intuitive reading, and spiritual counseling. Sessions with Ji Hyang can be booked in advance here.
Moriah Simmons is a NYC-based tarot reader and reiki energy healer. She brings a clear perspective and a gentle touch to her work, to help her clients on their path towards their highest purpose. Sessions with Moriah can be booked in advance here.
